A tour is a great way to get to know the "City of Birches". In just over an hour, you get a lot of information about Umeå and its soon 400-year history.
From June to late August, daily city tour in Swedish, English or German. They are free thanks to a number of companies in Umeå which sponsors guided tours.

Starts from Umeå Tourist Office, Renmarkstorget 15, 903 26 Umeå.
In Swedish: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday. Starting 16:00.
In English: Wednesdays 17/6 - 26/8. Fridays 26/6 - 28/8. Saturdays 21/6 - 2/8. Starting 16:00.
In German : Sundays 9/8 -30/8. Staring 16:00.
